1928-S Peace Silver Dollar, struck at the San Francisco Mint (indicated by the small "S" mint mark on the reverse, located near the eagle's wingtip and the "ONE" denomination lettering).

Designed by Anthony de Francisci to commemorate the peace following World War I, this 90% silver coin represents one of the final issues struck before the series went on a temporary hiatus during the Great Depression.
